Before you proceed
Our training programmes help individuals and organisations, including frontline workers, volunteers and others working with children and families, to better understand sexual offending and how to safeguard children.
The contents of these presentations are freely available for download and to use in training.
We want you to be able to inform others about child sexual abuse prevention and our aim is for communities throughout Scotland to be better informed and confident to take action to protect children.
We do however want this done correctly - there is a large amount of information here.
You need to consider your audience and the impact that this information may have on them. You also need to consider the time that you have available so that you can tailor the structure of your presentation in an effective way.
Always ensure that you leave sufficient time to provide positive information about what people can do to prevent child sexual abuse.
If you are speaking to a smaller group it may be worth considering the use of one of the scenario exercises or audios to generate some structured discussion.
We ask you to speak to Stop It Now! Scotland about using this presentation and other training that we offer.
